Where does Video Download Helper save files?

Can’t see your file there?

Open the browser’s own downloads page with Ctrl + J (Cmd + Option + L on Safari/Edge Mac) and click Show in folder.
Some “ask where to save each time” settings route files to a folder you last chose.
Adaptive (HLS/DASH) downloads can create a subfolder named after the source while merging.

How this tool works. It parses the text you paste entirely in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or proxied. We surface manifest/playlist metadata only — we never download, merge, or decrypt the media itself, and we do not help bypass DRM or any other protection.
